The weather was very nice (warm but not too warm, sunny but also a little breezy), the corn..field?...was watered down so it was NOT dusty and bumpy like the last time.
I think they made the route "easier" this time - about 90 minutes in and out!

Afterwards we ate a picnic lunch, drove around Temecula but didn't get to shop because there was a car/motorcycle rally going on (who knew?) so half of the town was closed to traffic.

We found a nice little microbrewery and enjoyed ourselves for a bit, chatted it up with an older couple also sampling the beers (we meet the nicest people at microbreweries!), then eventually made it home.
It was a nice day trip on a lovely early-autumn day!
