We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary on the first Sunday of the month. It was a low-key affair, because we have a big(ger) activity planned later on, when life is a little less hectic.

It was simple, a day for sharing time together,

a small couple's giftie (bought from buttonempire on etsy, found via Pinterest) (slightly broke our "no gifts this year" rule but was told it was OK once the cuteness was revealled LOL)

A light picnic spread, partly bought, partly made.

I hate to admit that we don't get to spend enough 'couple time' together due to schedules, work, dishes, chores, cooking, bookstore/coffee (mostly that's parallel play and not together time)...

But the little break to hang out in a park, under a tree, and just "be" together was very refreshing.

It was a good way to start our second year of marriage.
